If I Cast The Soaps

Now that Debbi Morgan has been let go from The Young and the Restless, I have been thinking about which of the other three soaps I would like to see her go to. She is too good of an actress to be sideline for long.

My first thought, is it would be nice to see her go to General Hospital as Dr. Angie Hubbard. General Hospital is keeping part of  One Life to Live alive with some of their characters being brought over. Why not do that for All My Children?

If that doesn’t pan out, then I could see her on Days of  Our Lives as a possible love interest for Abe Carver.

Debbi Morgan and Marcy Rylan Out at The Young and the Restless

The cast cuts continues over at The Young and the Restless. On the heels of the announcement that Genie Francis has been let go, now come the news that Emmy-winner Debbi Morgan (Harmony) and Marcy Rylan (Abby) has been axed from the show.

Morgan  joined  The Young and the Restless last year  as a recast Yolanda Hamilton,  Devon’s mother. The character name was changed to Harmony. Prior to joining Y&R, Morgan played the very popular Angie Hubbard on All My Children.

Rylan’s firing was a bit of a shock to some, because her character is a member of  two key families on the show. She joined Y&R in 2010.
