Brandon Barash Exiting General Hospital

Fan fave Brandon Barash took to twitter to announce he is leaving the soap he has called home since September 2007.  Below is the tweet with Barash joking about the NBA.

Michael Easton, Roger Howarth,and Kristen Alderson Out at General Hospital

MICHAEL EASTONroger howarthThe three popular stars kristen alderson2will have to make a mandatory exit from General Hospital by February 8th as a result from a legal battle between ABC and Prospect Park as reported earlier today by Soap Opera Digest.

General Hospital is excited about Michael Easton, Kristen Alderson, and Roger Howarth staying on the show and we are exploring ways to allow that to happen,” said a General Hospital spokesperson.

Expect to see the characters on the canvas through March.

John Ingle Passes Away At 84

Beloved General Hospital vet, John Ingle (Edward) died last night at the age of 84.

Ingle played Edward Quartermaine on and off since 1993. In 2004, he played Mickey Horton on Days of Our Lives until 2006.

Herbst Stays At General Hospital

Some good news! General Hospital has reverse their decision to let Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) go.

“Rebecca Herbst will continue on as Elizabeth Webber,” ABC said in a statement. “The show is thrilled she will remain on the canvas to portray the beloved character in many more poignant and emotional stories. Fans will be pleased to see Rebecca continue the role she created.”

Rebecca Herbst Let Go From General Hospital

Popular General Hospital Star, Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) has been let go from the soap she has called home since 1997.

ABC issued this statement: “Storyline dictates the exit of Elizabeth Webber this spring. The next few months promise to be a not miss story for the character. We at ABC and General Hospital wish Rebecca Herbst nothing but the best in all of her future endeavors.”
